About Us - Howell Wildlife Outfitters

Known as ’Goose’ throughout the hunting industry, due to his expertise with guiding goose hunters, he is also very experienced with guiding and hunting various other large game species. Being an avid and successful bow hunter himself, he has pursued and guided many different game animals ranging from Mexican Gould's Turkey and Coues Deer, to state drawn Elk, Mule Deer, Coues Deer, Desert & Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Persian Ibex, Oryx, Javelina, Antelope and Bison. His experience includes anywhere from supervising and organizing large multi hunter tent camps with numerous guides and cooks, to just himself and one hunter in a trailer camp. Whatever the needs and requests of his hunters are, ‘Goose’ will make those his priority. His extended ‘family’ of contacts throughout the United States and Mexico allow him to be able to meet all of his client’s desires, hunting needs and trophy goals.

‘Goose’ has extensive background in all aspects within the hunting industry. These include everything from being an instructor for ‘Firearm Safety’ classes, to starting and / or participating in and also chairing various national and local organizations to benefit and protect our hunting resources. These organizations include the national and local chapters of Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Coconino Sportsman, Arizona Elk Society, Safari Club International, Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, Arizona Deer Society, Mule Deer Association, Arizona Wildlife Federation, and the National Turkey Foundation, to name a few.

Donating his time and resources has always been a top priority with ‘Goose’ in his 20 plus years in the hunting and guiding industry. This achievement and desire reached an all time high in 2007, when he was approached to guide and help with the national organization of ‘Hunt of a Lifetime’. This is a truly wonderful organization that organizes and runs hunts for terminally ill children throughout the United States. Due to the high success and gratification involved with this hunt and the two hunters that ‘Goose’ and the extended ‘family’ network within Howell Wildlife Outfitters, team had the privilege  of working with, HWO will definitely continue this as an annual event. Therefore: Goose has, along with his friends at the Chandler Rod and Gun Club have implemented the 'Northern Arizona Hunts for Hope Team' and the "Outdoor Experience 4 All" to take more terminally ill children hunting, now and in the future. ‘Goose’ believes in the youth of today and the future of tomorrow so much that he even offers discounted hunts and application services for our nations youth. He is also involved with the Buck Masters "Life Hunts" program and several TV shows that feature hunts throughout the south west.  .
